REFUNDS
We will give full refunds if notify us via email
within 7 days of your intended check-out date.
Any days that fall within the 7 day period will
be subject to a 50% cancellation fee, and any
cancellations the day of your check-in / check-out
will not receive a refund. If you have paid for
a multi-month rate and check-out prior to the
completion of your first month, your refund will
be prorated at a one-month rate. Please note that
refunds are only given in two scenarios: (1) if
we are booked full and you are waitlisted, or
(2) if you check out early. Leaving the Lafayette
International Hostel (such as for weekend trips)
during the middle of a paid monthly rate does
not qualify for a refund.
HOSTELBOOKERS / HOSTELWORLD
5% to 10% deposits made through booking engines
such as Hostelbookers.com and Hostelworld.com
are non-refundable even in the case of cancellations
with adequate notice. The deposits are their booking
commissions. Please note that your remaining balance
will be charged prior to your check-in date.
CHECK-IN / CHECK-OUT TIME
Check-in time is 1pm. You may arrive as early
as 8am, but please note that your bed will not
be ready until the afternoon. If you plan on checking
earlier than 8am, you will need to make reservations
for the previous night.
TERM
Check-out time is 11am. RENTER shall, upon termation
of AGREEMENT, vacate and return the facility in
the same condition that it was received. RENTEE
agrees to submit to any room assignment changes
to rooms or bunk beds of equal or greater value.
PAYMENT & LIABILITY
RENTEE agrees to payment for the rental of the
property for the duration of AGREEMENT. RENTEE
agress to pay this remaining balance upon the
arrival of the property.
In case of suspicion of the RENTEE being held
responsbile for any damages, RENTER reserves the
right to charge RENTEE for damages until the situation
is resolved. RENTER maintains the right to sue
RENTEE for any damages if it is proven that RENTEE
is responsible for these damages.
In the event of any damages, RENTEE shall repair
or replace the damanged property as he or she
see fits, given that the replacement or repair
is market value of the original property. RENTEE
agrees to financial responsibility of any and
all property as previously stated.
RENTEE agrees to discharge, hold harmless, and
forever acquit RENTER, their officers, agents,
representatives, and employees from any and all
actions, causes of action, claims, or any liabilities
& injuries whatsoever, known or unknown now
existing or which may arise in the future, on
account of or in any way related to or arising
out of stay with RENTER. Furthur, RENTEE assumes
all liability of all guests who accompanies him
or her.
PAYPAL
Refunds will take 4 to 8 business days to process
to show up in your statement. You can request
a transaction ID from us, which will allow you
to track the refund via Paypal. Please note that
any refunds will be processed after you check
out. Physical payments made with the virtual terminal
at the Lafayette International Hostel will be
charged a 4.5% surcharge to cover credit card
fees.
USE
RENTEE agrees not to use the premises in such
a maneer as to disturbe the peace and quiet of
other tenants in the building. RENTEE further
agrees not to maintain a public nuisance and not
to conduct business or commercial activities on
the premises. RENTEE shall not sublease nor assign
the premises without the expressed and written
consent of RENTER.
Failure of RENTEE and his or her guests to comply
with the terms of this AGREEMENT, including but
not limited to any illegal activities or unwanted
behavior, is grounds for termination of the tenancy,
with appropriate notice to RENTEE by RENTER and
procedures as required by law.
TERMINATION
RENTEE acknowledges that he is entitled to a full
copy of AGREEMENT. He acknowledges that upon checking
out, that there has been no personal injury to
RENTEE, guests, or personal property, and that
his or her stay with RENTER has been entirely
satisfactory, and if there are any injuries or
comments, RENTEE must notify RENTER by email within
14 days of termination of this agreement.
RELATIONSHIP BETWEEN LOFTSTEL AND LAFAYETTE
INTERNATIONAL HOSTEL
Lafayette International Hostel and Loftstel are
two separate and distinct organizations. Lafayette
International Hostel provides the accommodations,
while Loftstel is the organization that provides
IT & reservation support for their operations. |
