THE
LOFTSTEL TEN COMMANDMENTS
(rules of the house)
I. THOU SHALT KEEP A CLEAN
KITCHEN OR FACE CHARGES ON THY CREDIT CARD
Please be respectful of the staff, who strive to provide a clean and tidy Loftstel
for the guests. Please observe the following rules to
avoid having you credit card charged $25:
II. THOU SHALT LABEL ALL
FOOD IN THE FRIDGE
You are more than welcome to store your food in the refridgerator. However,
please remember to label your food items with your full name and the date. We
will throw away anything that is a week old or expired. If you are staying longer
than a week, you must re-label your food. All food products
without a date or dated more than 7 days old will be thrown out. Soda and Alcohol
can not be stored in the refridgerators.
III. THOU SHALT RESPECT THY
NEIGHBORS
Remember that you are sharing sleeping and living quarters with other guests.
Please observe the following rules:
IV. THOU SHALT MAKE THINE
RESIDENT ASSISTANTS TOIL
If you have a question or concern, please find the RA on duty (there is a shift
list posted by the reception area to find out who is currently working). Knock
on their door or call their phone - they are ready to help!
V. THOU SHALT OBERVE THY
RULES OF CANCELLATIONS AND EXTENSIONS
If you lose your spot as a result of failing to extend your reservation, you
must check out. Please note that you are responsible for your own reservation
by keeping track of our remaining beds & your last paid dates and to observe
the folllowing terms and conditions:
VI. THOU SHALT NOT STEAL
While this rule obviously discourages kleptomaniacs to engage in theft, it also
reminds you to not be careless with your personal belongings. Too often, we
find that guests get a false sense of security because they grow accustomed
to seeing the same faces week in and week out. Please remember to lock all of
your valuable belongings in your locker (you will need to provide your own lock),
as Loftstel is not responsible for any misplaced personal items. Should we find
you guilty of theft, we reserve the right to charge your credit card or withhold
unused days to compensate for loss and damages.
VII. THOU SHALT BE ENCOURAGED
TO VISIT OTHER LOFTSTELS
Any guest staying at any Loftstel is eligible for free accommodations at other
locations within 7 days of your last paid date. It is very important to note
that (a) you are NOT guaranteed free accommodations, as the free transfers are
similar to being standby on a flight and (b) you MUST
have a member of the staff arrange for a free transfer on your behalf with the
another location for you. You can only make free arrangements one day
in advance, which means that if the other Loftstel is booked full on the day
of your departure, unfortunately we cannot provide accommodations. If you prefer
to have guaranteed accommodations, you can always make reservations online on
your own (but this means you will have to pay for it).
VIII. THOU SHALT NOT SLEEP
ON THY COUCH
Please remember to never, ever, EVER fall asleep on the couch.
IX. THOU SHALT SLEEP IN THE PROPER BED ASSIGNMENT
Please sleep in the bed assigned to you. If you would like to change your bed
assignment, please consult with a Resident Assistant to make sure that a particular
spot is available.
X. THOU SHALT REMEMBER THE
CHECK-OUT POLICY
Our check-out time is 11am. On the day of your check-out, please remove all
of your belongings from the room by 11am. You are more than welcome to leave
your luggage in our designated storage areas for the rest of the day, but please
remember to remove your luggage, trash, and any personal items from the room
so that the housekeeping staff can prepare the rooms for the next set of guests.
